Some People Are Smartie Pants!

I guess this inspired me because of all the recent leftover ordeals associated with Thanksgiving and other holidays that generate copious amounts of food. You cut off the top part of the bottle, thread the plastic bag up through the bottle opening, and then screw the cap on. Clever, huh?

That does look kind of neat. However, I have one question. Why don't you just use the bottle?? If the food has to fit through the top of the bottle either way, then what makes the bag more efficient than using the bottle?
We do have tons of leftovers and are very sad that we are the only ones here to enjoy it. We miss you guys already! It was so fun having you here. I'm glad it will only be a few weeks before we get to see you again. Glad you made it home safely.

I haven't tried this, but I think you take the bottle top out when you want to use the contents. Then it just becomes a regular bag. the beauty of the cap is that it seals the bag so tightly--tighter than a twistie or a clip of some sort.

Ohhhhh, that makes more sense, or you can just buy zip lock bags. I love to see people thinking of new ways to do things. I wish I was more creative like that.

no, you're both wrong. the reason for the bag is so you can conveniently stow it in your front shirt pocket. If you fill it with juice then you can have a straw coming out and your set. that way you have your hands free to do other things like making forks out of pipe cleaners.
