"This Moment of Softness is Brought to You By..."

What was that commercial? Northern Tissue? Grandmothers forced to live away from their grandchildren is cruel and unusual punishment. Anybody ever hear of the Geneva Convention for heaven's sake??????? Wasn't there a grandmother clause????? For the most part I compartmentalize these frustrations, but then not always...

oooohhhh, so cute! I think my mom will be on board with your opinion. She's lucky that MOST of her grandbabies live nearby. You should frame that shot, it's so sweet...

I feel your pain! I'm sorry that your grandbabies are so far away. So far, mine are just 2 1/2 hours drive. However, when Charlie and Katie start families, they will most likely be several days drive. That will be a sad day. I have a book with numerous ideas on how to be a long distance grandma. Let me know if you are interested. I'll share. :)

That is pure torture to have to be so far away from grandbabies, especially one as cute and cuddly as that. Speaking from personal experience, I'm sure they wouldn't mind a bit if you were to visit as often as one week every month. Oh, you're stuck editing 7th grade papers? Oh no! Well, you might as well work on your insomnia. You are a crack-up!
