I've been listening to a cd of Little Shop of Horrors that my friend Eileen sent me. This song makes me laugh! This one goes out to Paco who had his teeth cleaned yesterday!
The movie is very cute except when it gets a little crude. I hate that. You're watching along watching along, laughing, and then a zinger comes on and you're caught compromising your standards!! That happened to me so much on Seinfeld. It happens a little with the Office but not as much. I was thinking Little Shop would be a great high school production but then those zingers...
I LOVE Little Shop! It's always been one of my favorites, except of course for those zingers! That is exactly why I don't watch Seinfeld. I used to think it was funny, but it got to be too much for me. I'm still trying to decide what I think about the Office. I love it and I think it is super funny, but is it too much crude humor? I think our high school did the edited version of Little Shop. The music is so great!
Funny how things cycle through... I was just trying to convince Michael to join me in seeing it at my college. "Feed me!!" Glad you're enjoying the tunes. I was singing from Seussical all day. I guess we're in a Broadway state of mind. Miss you.
