Fez is a beautiful train ride and day trip from us. We met a tour agent on the train who hooked us up for the day.

The guide took us way up above the city to this stunning cemetery.

The entry gate was duplicated at the Moroccan exhibit in Epcot.

I must have been a Bedouin desert nomad in another life because these rugs speak to me on a deep level. This one probably costs about what a car does.

The world famous Fez tannery

Paper thin crepes cooked on a hot "head"
Preserved meat in an animal fat

All of Morocco's best tiles originate in Fez.
