BYU China Teachers Reunion 2018!

Inviting friends to our farm is not without its risks.  Sometimes we are at cross purposes with our home and land here.  We unrealistically picture it as a gracious aging lady who will sit daintily with a lace handkerchief and make pleasant conversation--flowers on a nearby table, delicious aromas coming from an inner stove, a gentle breeze wafting the lace curtains.  But most of the time our "gracious lady" farm stomps onto center stage as an entity that can't wait to take off her girdle, slouch into a chair, perhaps burp, and tell off-color jokes at which she uproariously reacts.  But we take our chances.

Fortunately, our China Teacher guests are willing to look past the warts, weeds, and dropping temperatures and just come for the fun and company!

They are congenial, helpful, FUNNY, and when they leave we weep profusely in a corner...

Our bonds are strong.

Our smiles are contagious!

Nobody ever seems at a loss for words!

Last year's reunion proved that these folks LOVE 'em a good bike ride, so perhaps this is now a tradition!
